Andrea Bowen was born in America. She started her career in Broadway musicals, including Les Miserables as well as The Sound of Music. She began to play the character Julie Mayer in the ABC comedy drama Desperate Housewives. This role was played regularly until in 2008. Julie Alexandra Mayer (born in 1982) is the first child born to Susan Delfino. Julie was Susan's favorite daughter as she grew older. She would often be seen as her partner in their relationship. She would cook as well as cleaning for Susan. Julie even provided dating advice for Susan. Andrea Bowen played Amy on the Station 19 season 5 episode "All I Have for Christmas Is You". In order to treat the condition, she was fitted with a Pacemaker at the age of a young woman. Bowen married Scott Phillips a real estate investor and software developer on 9 September 2004.
